Abdirahman Moumin is a remarkable young entrepreneur, university lecturer, and diplomat whose career is built on more than seven years of leadership, diplomacy, teaching, and business experience. As one of Somaliland’s promising young ambassadors, he has actively engaged in numerous youth dialogues and international forums, passionately advocating for his country’s global presence. Through his efforts, he has inspired unity, resilience, and a sense of purpose, contributing to a future where the youth of Somaliland take a central role in driving the nation’s progress, as well as influencing the broader African continent and the world. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Somaliland Youth Ambassadors Council (SOYAC), a youth-led initiative dedicated to empowering young leaders through diplomacy, dialogue, and development.

yaanle Daahir is a young diplomatic with a dual academic background in IT and Political Science & International Relations, has overe seven years of volunteer experience working on community issues. He has represented his country in both local and international forums as a youth ambassador. He has collaborated with local and international organizations, leading programs focused on youth leadership, the SDGs, and climate change. Ayaanle is deeply committed to amplifying the voices of African youth, believing that young people are the backbone of a sustainable future.

AbdiAziz Basheir Hussein is a researcher and senior lecturer in computer science with over six years of experience in higher education. Driven by a passion for technology and education, he has mentored students across computing disciplines to help shape the next generation of tech professionals and innovators. Beyond academia, Abdiaziz serves as Head of Youth Empowerment and Training at the Somaliland Youth Ambassadors Council (SOYAC), where he designs and leads programs that foster youth leadership, diplomatic engagement, and community-driven development across Somaliland. His core interests include youth diplomacy, Pan-Africanism, and socio-political transformation. A passionate advocate for youth inclusion, he has played a pivotal role in amplifying young voices both locally and across Africa. Abdiaziz is a former member of several continental and global youth platforms, where he contributed to shaping youth-centered development agendas. He has represented Somaliland in international forums, sharing insights on African development and advocating for Somaliland’s unique identity and aspirations. He is widely respected for his commitment to youth empowerment and for building bridges between African youth movements and global conversations on development.

As a dedicated member of the Somaliland Youth Ambassadors Council (SOYAC) , Khalid has proudly represented Somaliland on international platforms, where he advocates for youth participation, peacebuilding, and climate action. A YALI alumnus and international youth representative, he has also led community trainings for women and girls, promoting empowerment and inclusion. In addition, Khalid brings strong expertise in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) within the development sector, contributing to effective and sustainable program outcomes.
